I found this diagram on an old reef central post showing a simple back up plan for a pump using a 12v marine battery and trickle charger. i thought a power inverter. Today we look at adding the ecotech vectra m1 to my diy battery backup. with all the stroms and risk of extended power outtages its important to ensure. Lots of people have diy'd a battery backup for their voretech(s). but i think they use a separate charger and just plug up the whole thing to vortech controller.
